Tasmania is divided into 3
parts North East Tasmania, South Tasmania and North West Tasmania.
Tasmanian major destination's are Hobart, Devonport, Launceston
and Port Arthur .
North East Tasmania covers area of Launceston, North
Tasmania and East coast. Launceston is Australia's third oldest city with
parks,gardens victorian facades and famous Cataract Gorge Reserve. The
Frycinet National Park has white sand beaches, crystal water is the headline
costline of Tasmania. The Osyter Bay famous for boating and fishing is
resort town Swansea. The world heritage, Liffey forest Reserve with 3
series waterfall is another attraction. The Flinders Island, the jewel
of the region is largest island in the Furneaux group. One can walk on
the costal dungs and sight the bird wealth of this island or comb for
Diamonds in Killiecrankie beach.
South Tasmania Tasmania's South is an area covering the southern
region of Tasmania, with its main centre being Hobart. Hobart, with a
deep-water port and a maritime history, is the capital of Tasmania and
Australia's second-oldest city. The places to visit Cascade Brewery, Wrest
Point casino and Port Authur Historic Site. Cascade Brewery is Australia's
oldest brewery. Port Authur Historic Site located 100km from south Hobart
is most significant sities. Port Arthur offers a combination of convict
history, spectacular scenery and magnificent waterways. Evening Ghost
Tours operate year round, with guides giving an insight into the mystery
of Port Arthur, exploring the site by lantern light.
North West Tasmania region covers a vast area including the
towns of Devonport, Burnie and Strahan. The beautiful Cradle Mountain
is a treat to view wildlife. This region is very fertile with many of
Australia's vegetables and dairy product are produce here. The entire
West Coast has a rich mining heritage spanning over 100 years.
