Description of the flag

Bonheiden is located in the arrondissement of Mechelen.

According to Municipal decision 25 August 1988 and Ministerial decision 13 December 1988, the flag is made of "Three equally wide vertical stripes Green, Yellow, and Purple (purper)." The last color is in the book [pbd98] is nearly black.

Bonheiden has got three flags: one official flag and two banners as supporting items of the coat of arms. One banner is the banner of arms, the other probably a banner of amrs as well of an amalgamated municipality (maybe Rijmenam)
