Zaventem (26,500 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Halle-Vilvoorde. Zaventem is the major international airport of Belgium; the commune also has the racing course of Sterrebeek.

The flag is: Tierced in fess, Or, Azure and Argent, II a boar-head. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 16 July 1981.
