Nazareth (10,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Ghent.

The flag is: Party per pale, Azure and Argent, inescutcheon party per pale, I party per fess, Ia Gules a lion passant Or, Ib Or, three (2:1) quintefoils Gules and Vert, with hearts Or, II Sable, a chevron Or accompanied by an oak-branch Or, a six-pointed star Or, and a claw of an eagle Or. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 23 May 1978.
