[Flag of Ziefen]

Argent, an Eagle displayed Sable fesswise, langued, beaked and membered Or.

Is the eagle rotated on the flags only?  In that case the blazon should omit "fesswise" (if it is correct blazoning anyway) since a blazon is for the coat of arms and not a flag, I guess.  This flag is not a "simple" banner of arms as it is case of most other Swiss communes, districts, and cantons.

No, the eagle is also rotated on the coats of armss and I have kept the rotation for the flags.
