Per fess, 1. Argent, seme of billets Sable, a semi-lion naissant Sable langued Gules; 2. Gules, two Halbards in saltire Argent.

Notice the halbards are "brand-marked" with a Swiss cross.

The upper part of the flag of Gingins (seme of billets sable, a semi-lion naissant sable ....) present on a great number of flags is the arms of the Gingins family who gave the name to the commune. They play an important role in the country and were holder of the seigneury for more than six centuries.
