Wriezen is a small town in Märkisch-Oderland County in the northeast of Brandenburg. The flag is quartered of yellow and blue (derived from the field colours of the arms). The flag is used unofficially. In fact, the Brandenburg law on civic flags demands that only striped flags (in varying proportions, with or without arms) be used. Source: Günther 1996c.
