Adopted: 8 March 1996. Proportions: 7:10. Golden pine refers to location along the sea, beach and pine forests. Boats refer to fishing, ship building and commerce. Red refers to the coat of arms of Harjumaa, to former brick-industry, to historical connection with Denmark.
