Tolliste is a rural municipality (vald) in Valgamaa County (Maakond).

From http://www.rk.ee/symb/tolliste.html: Adopted 31 March, 1994. Ratio 1:1. Wall refers to the name of municipality (from German word Tellitz). It also refers to the former industry of bricks. Waves refer to the river of Emaj�gi. Branches of fir refer to the forestry and hunting. Red refers to the many battles. Black, silver and red are also colors of Cistercians. During the middle ages T�lliste belonged to the Cistercian monastery of K�rkna.
