Triangular red flag with a blue border on the free edges, and a blue diamond with a white fimbriation, charged with a white star.

Le Pouliguen is located between La Baule and Le Croisic, on the northern shore of the Loire estuary. The writers Louis Veuillot and Jules Sandeau popularized the sea resort there as early as 1854 (La Baule was "created" only in 1879).
