Presentation of the province

The province of Saint-Malo (Sant-Malo in Breton) is a province of the North-East of Brittany. Its capital city is Saint-Malo.

Description of the flag

The flag is based on the municipal flag of Saint-Malo. The black cross represents Brittany. Red recalls the municipal flag of Saint-Malo. Green represents inner Brittany. The ermine and the golden harrow are the symbols of the city of Saint-Malo.

The flag was designed by Philippe Rault.
