For a small community of some 4,400 inhabitants (1993) some 30 km east of Varaždin, about 3 km due north of Ludbreg, Sveti Šurd (Sv. Djurdj) one may almost guess the symbols. The county web site <> does not show the CoA nor the flag, but the statutes in the official gazette available at <> describes them: Statut Opcine Sveti Šurd, 5.10.2001, Službeni vjesnik Varaždniske županije, br. 20/01. The coat of arms showes the saint parton, St. George on a horse slaying the dragon. The flag is light blue with the coat of arms in the middle.
