Description

Migdal ha'Emek (meaning tower of the valley) is situated on the Nazareth Mounts, about 10 km from Nazareth, on both sides of the Haifa-Nazareth road, 30 km southeast of Haifa. The city looks over the Jizrael vally, hence the name. Est. 1953, pop. 25,000.

The unofficial flag shows the emblem on a monochrome field. I received a white desk flag, but I would not be surprised to find other backgrounds. The letter I received mentioned 1965 as the adoption date, however the municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), YP 1001, 28 March 1963, for the then Local Council Migdal ha'Emek.
