White coat of arms on orient blue field.

Stylized ornamental top of railing of Nihonbashi bridge and Kyobashi bridge located in Chuo-ku.

From the past time the bridges are said to be birth place of culture and economy and also a symbol of communication and transportation.

The small disc in the center indicates Chuo-ku is located in the center of Tokyo as well as that of Japan.

CKoat of arms adopted 31 July 1948.
