The flag (two vertical bands yellow and red) and the coat of arms of Klaipeda city (Klaipeda county - Klaipedos apskritis). The flag is drawn by me according to logo of the 750th Anniversary of Klaipeda City Foundation (old version of the site of Klaipeda municipality - <>) and personal observation from flag show in jubilee of Mindaugas coronation 750th anniversary. The coat of arms I drew according to the picture from the book: The Heraldry of Lithuania.

Quite similar in symbolism and colours to the Memel District 1920-1939 flag. Klaipeda and Memel are the same city, Klaipeda being its Russian/Lithuanian name and Memel its German name.
