Ciudad del Carmen

Ciudad del Carmen is the capital of the muncipality of Carmen, located to the South of Campeche. Its main geogrophical act is the famous Carmen Lake (Lagoon), formerly know as Laguna de Términos.

Ciudad del Carmen (Departamento del Golfo), at the time, was known as Laguna (Lagoon), at least its port was called this way. It had a registration flag for its own consisting on a red field with a Sain George's cross in white.
