Description of the arms:

Main objects: The old aqueduct of Chihuahua (in the chief). Heads of a Spaniard and an Indigenous person, representing the "mestizaje".
At the bottom the face of the Chihuahua City Cathredral.
The text: "Valentia Lealtad Hospitalidad" (Braveness, Loyalty, Hospitality).
