Scheemda is in east Groningen, a few km. northwest of Winschoten. Since 1990 it includes the municipalities of Midwolda and Nieuwolda. It includes the village of Heiligerlee, where we suffered one of our most glorious defeats by the Spaniards in 1568. Scheemda and Midwolde had national fame for the casting of clocks.
I have no info on the flag.
