Baranw flag

[Baranw flag] by Pascal Gross, 28 August 2000, after image from this site.

Description of the flag: Three bends of equal breadth: argent, azur, or.
Meaning: The colours are derived from the coat of arms of Baranw. In 1992 Baranw city council, following the tradition, declared that the coat of arms of the commune will be the old coat of arms of the city of Baranw: ram's head argent with curled horns or on field azur. "Ram" means "baran" and is the core of the city name. Baranw is in Kpno county.
