Ostr�w Wielkopolski is in Ostr�w Wielkopolski county, c. 100 km southeast
of Poznan with (1981) 63.983 inhabitants. It was mentioned in the 13th
century and become town in the 18th century. To Prussia 1793 and to Poland
after World War I. German name: Deutsch Ostrau. Flag adopted 1994.
