Overview

This city of 26,452 inhabitants was founded in 1803. The white comes from the silver field on the town's CoA, [which in turns seems to be representing the sky]. The green stands for vegetation and the yellow replaces the golden enamel used on the CoA for the gullies ["barrancas"].
Thanh-Tâm Le , 12 January 1999

The flag of Barranquitas is supposed to have the CoA on it's center.

Reported WRONG Flag

by Thanh-Tâm Le , 12 January 1999

This image as displayed on the Lexjuris site , seems to have reversed colours. The right flag is the top flag which is according to the text at Lexjuris site and is according to pueblos-de-puertorico.com site (Not availible at the moment)
Thanh-Tâm Le , 12 January 1999

The most common error is unknowingly presenting the flag upside down, so inverting the colors in the vertical direction as we may see in Barranquitas
