The picture above is a flag of two different, although related, things:
First of all, it is the flag of the Associa��o Acad�mica de Coimbra
(Academic Association of Coimbra), the Coimbra University Student�s Union,
the oldest university in portugal. It is also the flag of a football club
with the same name, that started being a section of the student's association,
but later became an autonomous entity. This club has also a long tradition in
portuguese football. If I recall correctly, it won a few Cups. Now it is playing
in the top league once again.
