Variation with white shield

[Loul wrong flag]
by Antnio Martins, 06 Feb 1999

This depiction, from the Municipal website, is a good proof that you shouldnt believe everything you see on the web. This image is a very wrong depiction of the flag of Loule. I should know Loul is at about 10 km from where Im writing and Ive seen the flag in the cloth (and photos of it). It also proves that even municipal websites bring wrong info and/or pictures. If I recall correctly, this site had been reported already a long time ago. Sad that it remains the same...

Unofficial flags

Current logo flag?

I failed so far to see the new logo on a flag. It is also triangular, but follows more closely the new trends of logology, that is, is a bunch of seemingly hand-drawn lines and shapes. If it comes out to be included in a flag, I assume it will be a white flag, since that is the colour that gets a better harmony with the thing.

Previous logo flag

[Loul unofficial flag]
by Jorge Candeias, 13 Feb 1999

The old logo on bedsheet is a blue field with "TERRA DE LOUL" in white capitals below a triangular logo showing a stylized landscape of the region.
