Official blazon in Swedish: "Sk�ld kvadrerad av Sm�lands och �lands vapen".(The arms of Sm�land: "I gyllene f�lt ett r�tt lejon med bl� bev�ring, d�rest s�dan skall f�rekomma, och h�llande i tassarna ett upp�tv�nt r�tt armborst med pilspets av silver samt b�ge och str�ngar svarta"; the arms of �land: "I bl�tt f�lt en g�ende hjort av guld med r�tt halsband och r�d bev�ring, d�rest s�dan skall komma till anv�ndning.")
Blazoned in English: "Quartered, Or a lion rampant Gules langued and armed Azure holding in front paws a Crossbow of the second bowed and stringed Sable with a bolt Argent, and Azure a Deer Or attired, hoofed and gorged Gules."
