Description of the flag

The flah of Trbovlje was shown on TV Slovenia 1 on 17 May 2002. The flag was vertically displayed on a honourable place on the stage. The stage contained half a dozen of other vertically displayed flags of other Slovenian municiplaities, and possibly some other flags, too.

The flag is 1:2 in ratio, derived from the coat of arms. It consists of a light blue field at the upper part and a green strupe along the lower edge, both being separated by a relatively thin black stripe that has a triangular "hatch" in the fly part.

The coat of arms that is seemingly in use contains a mining wagon and industrial chimneys.
