Heraldry:
The gonfalon is a square canvas divided horizontal on three equal
parts - green, red with a white cross in the middle, and black.
The green colour symbolizes a young city, red with a white cross
symbolizes a location of town on Volyn, black symbolizes a coal
mining industry. The author is A.Grechylo.

Heraldry:
The modern coat of arms forms a half of azure cross in a gules
field, above which there is a pyramid consisting of ten sable
pyramids. In a base there is a inflorescence of a chestnut. Gules
and azure colours are the symbols of Volyn, sable is the symbol
of coal mining industry. The author is L.Luniuk.

City in Volynia Oblast. Was founded in 1949 on a place of village
Nizkinichi because of the beginning of production of coal on this
ground.
