"It was confirmed by rural council at February, 27, 1998. A square white panel, two identical isosceles triangles depart from the bottom edge to top with a white patty crosses everyone, between them is a dark blue lily. The authors are Yu.Terlets'kyi and A.Grechylo.

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed by rural council at February, 27, 1998. In an argent field two azure edges, on each of which on an argent patty cross, and between them is azure lily. The authors are Yu.Terlets'kyi and A.Grechylo.
The arms specifies the name of a settlement and displays local natural features (broken lines form the letter of M, colors testify to riches of water resources, and the lily is considered Maria's symbol).

The Village

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"For the first time it is mentioned under name Marenyn in certificates at 1571. In documents since 1576 appears as city. The prince Bogush Fedorovych Korets'kyi built orthodox monastery and has constructed the defensive castle."
