Overview

Flag of the city of El Hatillo in Miranda State (Venezuela), information taken from http://www.elhatillo.com.ve/:
"The Municipal Council of El Hatillo approved in its ordinary session of the 2nd of June (1998), the design of the official flag of the Municipality El Hatillo, with the following characteristics:
The format and the colors adopted are those of the tricolor flag created by the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda, "traida" (word not translated) for the first time to Venezuela on the 3rd of August 1806.
The design consists of three horizontal stripes of equal size, the upper stripe being of blue color, the central stripe yellow and the lower stripe red.
In the central part the shield of El Hatillo is included, with the modifications approved with the purpose of correcting conceptual errors of heraldic and design, and to unify the artistic elements.
