Is FOTW aware of the existence of the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa, and its flag? The institute is modelled on the RNLI and has a white flag with an orange cross. In the four quarters the letters N S R I appear in blue.
The institute's website is here.

National Sea Rescue Institute flag - on Africa's highest mountain: (would they have St. Bernards in their service? :-)

I believe that the white squares should have a royal blue border (same colour than the lettering)
As proof I am attaching their logo.

The flag of the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa does not have a blue border. The flag is described in SAVA Journal 1/92 as:
Argent, a cross Tenne, each quarter respectively charged with the letters N S R I, Azure.
The flag is registered with the South African Bureau of Heraldry under certificate no. 593 dated 16 June 1972.
