HILL STATIONS

Horsley Hills, Andhra Pradesh

        The famous hill resort in Andhra Pradesh is 144 km from Tirupati. It is named after W.D. Horsley, the Collector of Cuddapah district, who chose this spot for his summer residence. Situated at an altitude of 1,265 m. The shady slopes are wooded with luxurious vegetation. Accessible airports to Horsley Hills are Tirupati (160 km)and Bangalore (165 km). The nearest railhead is Madanapalle Road, 13 km from Madanapalli and 43 km from Horsley Hills. 

Climate:
Horsley Hills are delightfully cool, with a maximum summer temperature of 32 degree Celsius and a minimum of 20 degree Celsius.

Air: Accessible airports to Horsley Hills are Tirupati and Bangalore at a distance of 160 km and 165 km respectively.
