PILGRIMAGES - JWALAMUKHI

       Jwalamukhi is 30 km from Kangra and 56 km from Dharamsala.The Jwalamukhi Temple The picturesque temple here is built against a wooded spur, in the Indo-Sikh style, and has a dome that was glided by Mughal emperor Akbar. An eternally burning flame that issues from a hollow rock in the sanctum is considered the manifestation of the goddess Devi. One can enjoy colourful fairs are held during the Navaratra celebrations every during March-April and September-October.
