As far as is known, Nakhichevan flies no flag of its own. However, during pro-Azeri independence rallies in 1990, a flag was reported in which the green stripe and white star and crescent of the Azeri flag was replaced by yellow and the ratio of the stripes was altered. This appears to have been simply an unofficial variant of the Azeri flag, which nevertheless resulted in quite widespread reports of an 'Nakhichevan' flag.
