The colour approximations given in Album des Pavillons [pay00] are:
I made the above images approximating those colours to closest BS (browser-safe) colour. The two blue shades seem on the screen very similar (though yet clearly different), but the difference is much more observable in printing (an in practice, I guess) since the process blue is more lively than in on-screen look.

Regarding the crescent and star, it seems that slightly different designs are used in flags. Compared with the national flag, the flags shown above have a smaller star and a 'more closed' crescent . The same pattern is used in the commanding and war pennants, and the flag of a commander of a group.
