Flag and CoA of Svat� Jan nad Mal�� are on this
webpage. The legend says that Joanes Bernardinus Riezenschopf from
Veleslav�n could see one night in 1732 five stars shine over the
Lo�enice mountain and that he understood this phenomenon as an apparition
of svat�ho Jana Nepomuck�ho (St. John Nepomuck�). Under the influence of
that miracle he decided to built a chapel on the Lo�enice mountain as a
remembrance of that the most favourite patron in Bohemia and its neighbour
countries.
