Karolinka flag

Karolinka is a small town in Vsetin okres in eastern Czechia, very near the Slovakian border. Flag, to be found on this website, adopted 13 Jun 1995, when a heraldic sign and a flag were officially given to Karolinka by the Czech Parliament. The glass symbolizes glass-making tradition, the blue waves (resp. blue stripes on the flag) symbolize the Stanovnice Dam and the green background is meant to symbolize the nature – mountains of Javorniky and Beskydy. In 1998 Karolinka was declared a town. The population is about 2950.
