Szdliget is a village in Pest County in Hungary near to Town of Vc (5 km south) on the left bank of the River Danube. The village has got 3.887 inhabitants (1990 census), nearly all of them are Hungarians. Neighbouring settlements are: Vc and Gd towns, Pcsmegyer and Szd villages. The settlement was founded in 1950 from the territory of Szd village. The settlement is a summer resort.
Symbols of the CoA: I think the blue stripe relates to the Danube. Maybe the rosette shield relates to the Arpad Dinasty.
Date of adoptation: 26 June 2000 by the No.7/2000 Resolution of the Community of Szdliget Village.
The imagess of the flags are not exectly correct since the 'Rde-style' inscription 'SZDLIGET' under the shield.is missing.
