Sz�dliget is a village in Pest County in Hungary near to Town
of V�c (5 km south) on the left bank of the River Danube. The
village has got 3.887 inhabitants (1990 census), nearly all of
them are Hungarians. Neighbouring settlements are: V�c and G�d
towns, P�csmegyer and Sz�d villages. The settlement was founded
in 1950 from the territory of Sz�d village. The settlement is a
summer resort.
Symbols of the CoA: I think the blue stripe relates to the
Danube. Maybe the rosette shield relates to the Arpad Dinasty.
Date of adoptation: 26 June 2000 by the No.7/2000 Resolution of
the Community of Sz�dliget Village.
The imagess of the flags are not exectly correct since the
'R�de-style' inscription 'SZ�DLIGET' under the shield.is
missing.
