Municipal flag

Borculo is in northeast Gelderland. The hooks on the flag (and CoA) refer probably to the use of grappling-irons in the shipping on the river Berkel (recently restored to a bit of its former glory). The three circles are from the family CoA of the former lords of Borculo.
