Municipal flag

Culemborg is a municipality in West Gelderland (West Betuwe) not far from Utrecht. It has some international fame as the birthplace of Jan
van Riebeek, who founded the Cape Colony in 1652.

The flag (adopted?) is derived from the municipal coat of arms.
