Municipal flag

Steenderen is in east Gelderland, the 'Achterhoek', north of Doesburg. Brickmaking (as reflected in the name - 'steen' = stone). Used to be forest-area, now mainly africultural.

The flag was adopted 6 August 1954. Yellow and blue probably for 'Gelre-colors', as in several other Gelderland civil flags. The things on the CoA are stones <look rather juicy :-)>
