Municipal flag

Vorden is c. 10 km southeast of Zutphen. It has 8 castles and is the place where the famous Dutch poet A. C. W. Staring lived and died.

The flag is a nice adaptation of the municipal CoA; the waves stand for the water of the 'vorde' (ford) in the Vordense beek. The checky part is derived from CoA of the family Vorden.
