Forces Démocratiques de Liberation de Rwanda

[FDLR flag] by Jarig Bakker, 16 Jan 2002

At this website is the flag of Forces Démocratiques de Liberation de Rwanda - Democratic Liberation Forces of Rwanda - Urugaga Ruharantra Demokarasi no Kubohoza U Rwanda.
The flag on the homepage has a golden centered circle, but as it is inspired on the old rw-flag I've made it yellow.

Martyazo Republic (République de Martyazo)

[Martyazo Republic] by Zeljko Heimer, 31 Oct 2001

It was a Hutu republic. The Bahutu revolted in 1972 but were defeated in west, centre and east. In the south a Republic called Martyazo was established on 1 May 1972, but it was occupied by the Burundese army (Tutsi) 9 May 1972. The flag was reported to be green with a diagonal stripe from lower hoist to upper fly.
Jaume Ollé, 23 Mar 1998

The diagonal stripe was red.
