Since there are or has been at least three Norrland flags in use, this site provides information about the "real" Norrland flag which is green with a yellow cross.
The design that seems to have gained the upper hand, is the white-blue-yellow flag.
The proportions are 16:25,6 (6-1-2-1-6 : 7,6-1-2-1-1). Some unidentified person launched the design in the 1980's and the design won a competition among 800 entries in 1992. The colours are a combination of the Swedish and Finnish. The flag is the same as the one used by the Swedish Tourism Association, except for an emblem. The flag seems to be in use.

In the early 1970's, a campaign to stop migration southwards made a green-yellow flag for Norrland. Green was in place of the blue in the flag of Sweden, and was to symbolise the natural riches of the region. As I understand the campaign is still using the flag.

A third proposal (1972) had no success and has never been used. The proposed design was white-green.

Norrland consists of the following provinces: Gästrikland, Hälsingland, Härjedalen, Jamtland (Jämtland), Lappland, Medelpad, West Bothnia (Västerbotten), Ångermanland and North Bothnia (Norrbotten).
