About the flag

The flag of Härjedalen shows tools used in metal working. The flag is a banner of arms.

Härjedalen was conquered from Norway in 1658, but the arms of Härjedalen was not formaly granted until 1884, based on a seal known to have been in use from 1647.

I have based this image on the image of the county flag of the County of Jamtland made by Mello Luchtenberg.
