Description of the flag

In December 1997, the town (municipality) of Kraljevo, in central Serbia, adopted armorial achievments and the banner of arms. Author is Dr. Mijat Ivanovic, lawyer from Vienna, of Kraljevo descent (Revision by Serbian Heraldry Society)

Blazon reads:

Gules seven open royal crown Or 2+2+2+1.

The image of banner of arms shown above was made according to Serbian Heraldry Society Gazette, January 1998.

Ivan Sarajcic, 27 April 1999

The name of the city Kraljevo might be tentatively translated into English as "King's town", which is surely a reason for choice of crowns in the coat of arms.

Zeljko Heimer 30 April 1999
