Cha Am City Guide
Thailand > Cha Am
Located on the sunrise side of the Gulf of Thailand, Cha-am
is a quiet relaxed coastal town, perfect for family vacations.
Cha-Am, has an added attraction of a traditional fishing
port, tropical sunshine, variety of watersports and a delight
in relishing some excellent seafood dining.
The sprawling city of Bangkok is full of interesting attractions
for tourists
Hua Hin lies a three-hour drive southwest of Bangkok. Several
air-conditioned coaches depart Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal
daily, alternatively there are a number of daily trains
from Bangkok's Hualamphong station to Hua Hin, takes about
four and a half hour.
The main attraction of Cha-Am is the chance to relax on
a lovely beach and escape the crowds, of everyday life.
Although the keynote of a stay at Cha-Am is relaxation,
the coastline in this region is well worth exploring, and
ideal for day excursions.
Resort hotels along the shores offer an excellent choice
of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, where the
local speciality is deliciously fresh seafood.
