Vietnam Army Museum, located in Hanoi was formerly the
French expeditionary barracks. The museum contains objects
and documents related to the establishment and development
of the Vietnamese armed forces, as well as the displays
of the Vietnamese resistant wars against the foreign invaders.
Several large and impressive artifacts such as heavy weapons
retrieved from enemy forces and shards of US planes are
also exposed.
