TAJIKISTAN - *Passport and visa required. Travelers must
obtain visas before arrival in Tajikistan. Visas may be obtained
from the Russian Embassy or nearest Consulate in the U.S., for
travel to Tajikistan. Travelers who intend to visit Tajikistan
should also obtain double-entry Russian, Kazakh or Uzbek visas
prior to departure, depending on intended transit points. AIDS
test required for anyone staying longer than 90 days. U.S. test

TANZANIA - *Passport and visa required. Obtain visa before
departure. Visas for mainland Tanzania are valid for Zanzibar.
Business/tourist visa (valid 6 months from date of issuance) for
1 entry up to 30 days, may be extended after arrival. Requires
1 application form, 1 photo and $50 fee (no personal checks).
Enclose prepaid envelope for return of passport by certified or
registered mail. Allow 1 month for processing. For business visa

THAILAND - *Passport required. Tourists staying no longer
than 30 days do not need a visa. For longer stays, obtain a visa
in advance. Transit visa, for stay up to 30 days, $10 entry fee;
or tourist visa for stay up to 60 days, $15 entry fee. For business
visa valid up to 90 days, need $20 entry fee or $40 fee for multiple
entry, and company letter stating purpose of visit. Submit 1 application
form, 2 photos, and postage for return of passport by mail. (Note:
All visa fees are payable in cash or money order, if applying
in person, or by money order only, if applying by mail. Apply

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO - *Passport required. Visa not required
for tourist/business stay up to 3 months. Business visa requires

letter, and SASE (make sure you include enough stamps to cover
the cost of postage, e.g. $11.75 for Post Office Express Mail

TURKEY - *Passport and visa required. Visas can be obtained
at Turkish border crossing points for tourist/business visits
up to 3 months or through a Turkish consular office in the U.S.
Visa requires a letter stating purpose of trip and $45 fee (cash
or money order only). Visa must be obtained in advance for visits
lasting longer stays, and for study, research, or employment purposes.
