Due to favourable natural and climatic conditions, the site was populated already in prehistoric times, the first ever mention, however, dates back to 1174. The early history of Rebesovice is linked with the squire Andrew, who gave the municipality to a Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad in 1175. Population: 480
