Guangdong Gild Hall

Built in 1907 with funds contributed by the Cantonese, the Guangdong Gild Hall is an imitation ancient architecture of quadrangle where Cantonese and their fellow provincials used to meet and enjoy theatrical performances.
The quadrangle, occupying a total floor space of 2,000 sq m, now houses a museum of traditional Tianjin operas and a theatre with a stretch-out stage that has excellent acoustics.
