Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, founder of the modern Chinese Republic
practised medicine in Macau prior to the revolution he led
to overthrow the China Dynasty of Manchu Emperors in 1911.
His family built this Moorish-style memorial house in his
honor and it contains some of his possessions, photographs
and other memorabilia. It was opened to the public in 1958
as a tourist attraction and as a place where people may
pay their respects to the founding father of the Republic
of China.
Opening hours :
Mondays to Fridays (except Tuesdays) : 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Saturdays and Sundays : 3.00pm - 5.00pm.
